Richa and Ali chose the traditional huge large Indian wedding style after an informal start. The couple had a spectacular wedding, from the Mehendi to the sangeet. A recent video from the deeply in love couple's Lucknow wedding made its way online, and it shows the bride making a spectacular entry in the style of Bollywood with uplifting music playing in the background.
Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha were married by the customs of their native Northern India. The couple decided to dress in ethnic wear and have a traditional wedding reception at their wedding in Lucknow. The video showed a sweet moment in which Ali Fazal, deeply in love with his wife Richa, watched as she walked down the aisle as a bride as the Sabri brothers performed the role of "Afreen Afreen." The couple also held a lavish event in Mumbai, which several Bollywood actors attended.

On September 28, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal hosted a private gathering for their families to begin the celebrations. After that, they also invited friends and family to a Mehendi and sangeet ceremony.
