Badass Ravikumar: ‘THIS’ Famous Actor To Play The Antagonist In Himesh Reshammiya Upcoming Film! (Details Inside)

Himesh Reshammiya unveiled his new film, ‘Badass Ravikumar’, in 2022 with an action-packed trailer, promising it would be one of the biggest entertainers in Hindi cinema. Soon after, he released his first single, Butterfly, which went on to become a digital smash. The composer-turned-actor stated on Friday morning that the action-packed entertainer will be released in theatres over the Dussehra 2024 weekend.

Himesh Reshammiya and his team have begun casting for ‘Badass Ravikumar’. According to insiders close to the project, Himesh has cast Prabhudeva as the antagonist in ‘Badass Ravikumar’. (Also Read: Sa Re Ga Ma Pa: Himesh Reshammiya Returns To Don The Judge’s Hat For The Sixth Season!)

“Prabhudeva will be playing the villain avatar for the first time in Hindi film. His is a character of Carlos Pedro Panther, a larger-than-life eccentric villain against Ravi Kumar,” revealed a source close to the development.

The film is now in pre-production and will begin shooting in March 2024. “The script is locked and the team is currently prepping for the action scenes with the intent of taking it on floors by March 2024. Himesh has composed a great music album for the film, and much like all his previous work, will be launching the songs from the over the coming year,” the source added.

Badass Ravikumar is a spin-off of his ‘The Xpose’ character Ravikumar, starring Himesh and Honey Singh among others. According to the source, several other personalities from the cinema and music industries will join ‘Badass Ravikumar's’ team, and the names will be announced in due course.
