Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are making headlines right now after the teaser for their forthcoming film 'Bawaal' was released. The film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is one of the most anticipated movies of the year and will be available on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on July 21, 2023. In a new interview, Varun has talked up about his controversial 'blowj*b' statement and blamed his co-star Janhvi's attitude for the entire uproar.
Varun is an unfiltered star, there's no doubt about it. He frequently makes big statements and is not afraid to express himself.
He said, “I mean, it’s a blowj*b to everyone’s ego that you know that you’re a star, you’re this, and you’re that. But eventually, when people are watching the cinema, they just want to be entertained. That’s it.” For obvious reasons, it went viral on social media.
For the uninitiated, Janhvi Kapoor was also a part of the same roundtable, and her reaction to Varun Dhawan's statement added fuel to the fire. Dhawan stated in his most recent interview with Zoom, “I didn’t think there was a big deal in that. It was because of her (Janhvi) expression. Nobody else on that table gave an expression like that.”
When Varun was reminded about Ayushmann Khurrana's reaction to his surprise, the 'Bawaal' actor replied, "Ayushmann just blushed, it's okay."

He concluded, “People say curb it, then they say you are very unique only if you talk like that, I don’t know actually, just being politically correct has become a thing right now.”
