Gadar 2: Ameesha Patel Receives SEVERE Criticism Over Her Statement Claiming Film Encourages Unity; Netizens Say 'Don't BRAINWASH People'

Together with Sunny Deol, who will reprise his role as Tara Singh, the actress is ready for the second instalment of 'Gadar 2: The Katha Continues.' After 22 years, the sequel to the movie that has become a cult classic will be released. Ameesha recently spoke to the media at a press conference and discussed her project. She was, however, criticised for her statement on social media.

'Gadar' is a movie that spreads only love and no animosity, according to Ameesha Patel, who made the statement at a press conference in Mumbai. She went on to remark that the movie depicts people of different castes, creeds, and religions. In the story, a Pakistani girl marries a Hindu and continues to practise her faith, while Sunny Deol, as Tara Singh, respected her and embraced her religion. She claims that the movie encourages unity and teaches us how to coexist peacefully.

Her statement was met with harsh criticism from online users. She was criticised by online users for posting inaccurate information. One user exclaimed, “I don't remember in GADAR 1 Tara Singh accepting Islam!!! Kisi ko yaad hoto plz let us know.” Another person said, “Tara Singh ne Islam nahi kabul kia.” One person wrote, “No!!!! What ... He didn't accept Islam he just respected her. LoL don't brainwash people.”

'Gadar' is a love story that takes place just before India and Pakistan were divided. Tara Singh, played by Sunny Deol, weds Pakistani Sakeena, played by Ameesha Patel, and they have a great life together. Unfortunately, their joy lasts only a little while before Sakeena's father makes her return to Pakistan against her will.
