And we would arrive at the point without adding any suspense. Therefore, it would appear that there is a Priyadarshan comedy universe. and that as well, for years. The 'Hungama', the filmmaker, had executed it flawlessly and with delicacy even before the concepts, theories, and phenomena of cross-overs in filmmaking were hip.

Hold your thoughts, then, before you become restless! Do you recall Raju from 'Hungama', played by Aftab Shivdasani? You must and ought to keep in mind Paresh Rawal's legendary Baburao Ganpatrao Apte from 'Hera Pheri'. What if we told you that the two are connected? Nandu was Baburao's biological son, or, to be more precise, Priyadarshan played this fact perfectly in a parallel reality.

A still from the 2003 movie 'Hungama', starring Aftab Shivdasani, Akshaye Khanna, and Rimi Sen, was posted in a Reddit discussion. It's interesting to note that Paresh Rawal played businessman Radhe Shyam Tiwari in this movie. Along with 'Hungama', Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar, and Suniel Shetty starred in the comedy Hera Pheri, in which Rawal played Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, a garage owner. Now, a Redditor claimed that Baburao Ganpat Rao Apte, from 'Hera Pheri', was the father of Nandu from Hungama.

The thread included a shot from Hungama featuring Aftab Shivdasani, which supported his theory. “This scene in Hungama 2003 shows a page of a newspaper, which had news of Nandu (the character played by Aftaab) being missing. His father is noted as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, which was a reference to another Priyadarshan movie – Hera Pheri.”

All hell broke loose once this discovery was allegedly made. A user made the connection: “Nandu talks about how he ran away from his mother and father, but in Hera Pheri, Baburao’s wife is not seen.” Another user commented, “Why is star garage’s number wrong ?? It should have been 8881212!” “Teen takle one two one two." However, this theory confused the majority of people.

“What the f*ck, this is a game changer. It means there’s a f*cking universe” Another remark said, "Wtf, is this Priyadarshan comedy universe." Another user agreed, writing, "Priyadarshan Created multiverse before it was cool." Another response was "Hot dang, Hera Pheri Universe."

The Reddit thread is accessible here.

For 'Hera Pheri 3', Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar, and Suniel Shetty will once again collaborate together. It would be interesting to see if Baburao Ganpat Rao Apte could locate a son in Aftab Shivdasani's Nandu using the Hungama crossover idea.
