After fans noticed Deepika Padukone's face clearly in Brahmastra's OTT version, rumors that she would be playing Shiva's mother, Amrita, in Brahmastra Part 2 have now been confirmed.

Part 1 of Brahmastra The first film in a trilogy, titled Shiva, with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the key roles, was released on September 9. In the movie, Alia plays Shiva's love interest, Isha, while Ranbir plays Shiva. Just a few days after the movie's OTT release, some keen-eyed viewers picked up on something intriguing while watching it online. After several fans claimed to have noticed Deepika Padukone's face in the movie, there were rumors that she would play Shiva's mother, Amrita, when it came out in theatres. But it was only a fleeting glance and wasn't very clear. Many fans alleged that the actress was undetectable.
