The actor recently hinted at these roots by sharing her favourite Tamil song that she loves to dance to.
The actor has recently welcomed the success of her newly released film ‘Good Luck Jerry’.
The actor recently took to Instagram’s story feature where she enables fans to ask her questions. She captioned her upload “Ask me anything! Aur aajaiye Jerry ko Good Luck bolne.” Several questions flooded in. One of which was about the actor's favourite Tamil song that always makes them want to dance. The star gave a very clear answer writing ‘Rowdy Baby.’ Any Tamil cinema fan, upon hearing this reply will just scream, same! The song showcases hit actors, Dhanush and Sai Pallavi. The duo’s energy in the song and the film ‘Maari 2’ is unmatched. The film was released in 2018 and was a super hit.
Coming to the actor’s newly released film ‘Good Luck Jerry’. The film revolves around Janhvi Kapoor’s character Jaya Kumari who goes by Jerry. Jerry stumbles into the bad world of drug mafias. Jerry has to navigate through this big bad world and the adventures make it worth the watch. The film is directed by Siddharth Sen. The cast includes Deepak Dobriyal, Mita Vashisht, Neeraj Sood, and Sushant Singh in pivotal roles.
Apart from this Janhvi has a film titled ‘Mili’ which is bankrolled by her father Boney Kapoor’s production. The film is the remake of the hit Malayalam film ‘Helen’. She will also be seen once again with actor Rajkummar Rao on the screen for the upcoming film ‘Mr And Mrs Mahi’. That’s not all, Janhvi is also working with Varun Dhawan for the much-anticipated film ‘Bawaal’.
