KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty to tie the knot soon, to have a winter wedding in South Indian style
It seems that weddings are pouring down in Bollywood. Following the weddings of Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are set to tie the knot soon. For a long time, the couple has been open about their love. It's no longer a surprise that the couple is smitten to each other; their gorgeous Instagram photos speak for themselves. By the end of the year, the duo will reportedly get married after dating for more than two years.
Athiya Shetty is a Bollywood actress and the daughter of Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty whereas KL Rahul is the skipper of Lucknow Super Giants and the vice-captain of the India national team.
The Indian cricketer and Bollywood actress will marry in a South Indian wedding, according to reports. As per a source close to the Shetty family, the preparation has already begun. Both of their parents adore Athiya and KL Rahul, and if everything goes according to plan, the couple will get married by the end of 2022.
Suniel Shetty was born in a Mangalorean Tulu-speaking family in Mulki, Mangalore, and is a South Indian, as is his to-be son-in-law. The couple will have a South Indian wedding ceremony. Suniel, according to reports, has yet to confirm the same.
Last year, during the premiere of Ahaan Shetty's debut film Tadap (2021), Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul made their first public appearance together. Athiya often accompanies KL Rahul for his international cricket matches.
