Children's Day is observed annually on November 14 to honor Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first prime minister, on his birthday.

Although fewer celebrations may have occurred since the pandemic struck, our spirit has not been dampened. Through several films and songs that assist stoke the inner fire and transport to earlier times, our Hindi film industry has repeatedly celebrated the presence of kids.

Here is a list of Bollywood classics that we used to sing in school at the top of our lungs or that may serve as the Children's Day theme song.

Bum Bum Bole

Taare Zameen Par, starring Aamir Khan and Darsheel Safary, included one of the most lovely songs. The Bollywood actor Aamir and the melodic singer Shaan collaborated on the song, sure to delight children and won them over with its beauty.

Chatte Batte

The song Chatte Batte is from one of the most kid-friendly and National Award-winning movies, Chillar Party, and has excellent beats and melodic vocals from Armaan Malik, Mohit Chauhan, Gaurika Rai, and Keshav Rai (2011). The song's lyrics, written by Nitesh Tiwari and arranged by Amit Trivedi, depict the children's connection with their neighborhood dog, Baidu.

Burman score from the iconic 1983 movie Masoom. When they were young, every one sang this upbeat tune at school events. Vanita Mishra, Gauri Bapat, and Gurpreet Kaur interpret the catchy song using lyrics by Gulzar.

Ichak Dana

The majority of 90s kids still regard the song Ichak Dana from Shri 420, which was performed by the great vocalist Lata Mangeshkar and Mukesh, as their go-to choice whenever they are feeling down.
