Neena revealed to Instant Bollywood that she had worked with Dilip Dhawan on a series many years prior. The lip-to-lip kissing moment was a first for Indian television. I had trouble sleeping all night. We weren't quite friends; he was just someone I knew. Although he was attractive, it doesn't really matter in these circumstances because I wasn't prepared psychologically or physically. Even though I was really anxious, I persuaded myself to continue.

"It's like some people can't do comedy, or cry on camera," she continued. I repeated it again and over until I accomplished it. I immediately cleaned my mouth with Dettol when it was over. I had such a hard time kissing someone I didn't know.

Neena said before in an interview that she doesn't live life on her terms. No, I'm not a rebel. I am a mouse, or chooha. I am not a strange person. I am currently the most traditional individual. Just because I had an unmarried child—which millions of women do in India and elsewhere—doesn't mean that it was wrong. But the media portrayed me as being "Ah brave." When I die away, the news will say, "Neena Gupta, who lived life on her terms, passes away." I didn't, she affirmed.
