Actor Varun Dhawan hurt his right leg on the set of a movie that is still in pre-production. On Wednesday night, the ‘Bawaal’ actor posted the update to his Instagram Stories.

"I hurt my leg, I think, while shooting, and I have no idea how I hurt my leg, but this is what I am doing at the moment," Varun says in the video, in which he can be seen treating his leg in an ice water bath.

The actor declined to say what the project was called, but according to reports, he is now filming for an action comedy from ‘Jawan’ director Atlee's production company, A For Apple Studios.

The untitled project will be directed by Kalees, who is best known for the 2019 Tamil film 'Kee,' which is also supported by Cine1 Studios. The date of release has been set for May 31, 2024.

Wamiqa Gabbi, best known for the Prime Video series 'Jubilee,' also appears in the movie.
