The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has caused a minor setback for the next Akshay Kumar movie, ‘OMG - Oh My God 2’, according to reports. According to reports, the committee decided to take this action because ‘OMG - Oh My God 2’ addresses religious problems and they wanted to make sure it didn't offend anyone. According to rumors, the CBFC is overly careful about these movies because they were criticized for passing ‘Adipurush’ without any changes, despite the fact that its dialogue and scenes caused a stir.
A website covering entertainment news has announced that the screening for the Revising Committee will occur today, Monday, July 17. The CBFC's chairperson, Prasoon Joshi, will attend this screening.
According to reports, a source said, “Usually, the Chief Executive Officer of the CBFC, Ravinder Bhakar, awards the certificate. His signature is seen on almost all the censor certificates. But in the case of ‘OMG - Oh My God 2’, Prasoon Joshi himself will go through the film and make a decision accordingly. He has decided to spearhead the RC as the CBFC wants to be fully sure that ‘OMG - Oh My God 2’ doesn’t have any scene or dialogue that can cause a problem.”
‘OMG - Oh My God 2’ will, however, likely breeze through the censorship process, according to industry insiders.
