At the recent San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in the US, the long-awaited glimpse of 'Project-K' was finally revealed amid considerable hype. Along with providing a sneak peek, the filmmakers also revealed 'Kalki 2898AD' as the film's official title, replacing 'Project K' as the working title.
In conjunction with the event titled 'This is Project K: First Glimpse of India's Mytho-Sci-fi Epic,' actors Prabhas and Kamal Haasan released the teaser. 'Project K' is a multilingual sci-fi movie that was directed by Nag Ashwin and made by Vyjayanthi Movies.

The glimpse of 'Kalki 2898AD' depicts a future world filled by turmoil, where the ruler appears to dominate through sinister technology and dark powers, and where those under attack are subjected to severe and terrible treatment.
In the video, it is stated that, “When the World is taken over by Darkness, a Hero Rises.” The video features the line, “When the world is taken over by darkness, a force will arise. The end begins now.”
While Prabhas's character is portrayed as a gallant warrior who rises to the challenge to safeguard his world, Deepika's character is depicted as an army recruit who appears to be experiencing emotional anguish. The brief peek also depicts Amitabh's persona as a fierce warrior wearing bandages.
A character can be seen at one point inquiring, "What is Project K?" Star Wars and Marvel might be seen as inspirations on the glimpse.
The ‘Project-K’ team has recently been in San Diego. The actor and Rana Daggubati, his co-star from the film ‘Baahubali,’ were the first to arrive. Later, Kamal Haasan also joined the team and was welcomed with open arms by the crowd.
A few days ago, Prabhas and Deepika's first looks were made public. Many people were not pleased with Prabhas' appearance and had conflicting reactions to the posters. Disha Patani also stars in the film. C Aswani Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies produced the film.
