R Madhavan now has two feathers in his cap. He is now the Film and Television Institute of India's President. Anurag Thakur, a union minister, announced it on X, a platform that was once known as Twitter. He offered his congratulations and best wishes to the ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ actor. Since the announcement, the actor has been popular on social media, and everyone has been wishing him well.
The ‘Vikram Vedha’ actor was returning home after a trip to the US. When he landed in India, he seemed quite eager to take on this new role. Since the news broke, his phone hasn't stopped ringing with congratulations for his recent success. In an interview with an entertainment news portal, R Madhavan responded by saying, "Thank you so much. I hope I can live up to the expectations given the magnitude of the responsibilities.” Shekhar Kapur has been replaced as the leader by R Madhavan. According to reports, the director was chosen to serve as both the chairman and president of the Film and Television Institute of India.
