Raj Kundra Breaks Silence On Being Called Po*n King
As Raj Kundra finally ditches his mask to face the media and public, he also opens up about being referred to as 'po*n king'.

For the longest time, we knew Raj Kundra as 'Shilpa Shetty's husband'. Raj, who is a businessman by profession, faced the most difficult period of his life when he was accused in adult film scandal. He was arrested by Mumbai Police Crime Branch in July 2021 and he had to stay behind the bars for two months due to the ongoing investigation. During this period, Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty were under constant public and media glare. They were trolled, criticised and were called demeaning names. Till date, Raj Kundra is called as 'po*n king'.

However, after two years of hiding his face behind the mask and avoiding media interactions, Raj is ready to face the world. He has bid adieu to his masks and is openly talking about the controversy. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Raj opened up about his feelings on being called a 'po*n king'. He said, “Of, course it hurts. You’d lie if you said it doesn’t hurt but I think I watched an interview where Karan Johar was saying how he’s handling trollers and I’m literally doing it the same way. I’m just so used to them now over the last two years same cheez (thing) on repeat."
He then added, “You get used to it after a while. You realize that they know no better and this is their claim to fame."

Raj then revealed that it was his wife Shilpa Shetty who asked him not to take these trolls seriously. Raj revealed, "Shilpa said, ‘Don’t complain, don’t explain. Just go ahead. You know who you are and what you are. Forget these people."
“You have to wear these sort of blinkers. I was wearing a mask so it didn’t bother me, but you have to wear blinkers and just go ahead with everything," he said in conclusion.
Raj Kundra is making his acting debut with the film titled 'UT69'. The film is based on Raj Kundra's experience in jail.
