Rapper Badshah Pens An Apology After Receiving BACKLASH For Using Lord Shiva’s Name In His Song (View Post)
After getting controversy for referring to Lord Shiva's name in the song Sanak, rapper Badshah took to Instagram to issue an apology message.

Badshah, a rapper-singer, apologized for offending people with the release of his new song Sanak. On Monday, the rapper rushed to Instagram to make a statement in which he stated that he has already taken 'proactive efforts' to modify some elements of the song and would never cause offense to anyone 'wilfully or unwittingly.'
The song garnered outrage for utilizing Lord Shiva's name in the lyrics, as well as other vulgar phrases. Last week, a senior priest from Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar Temple objected to the song, criticizing Badshah for utilizing Lord Shiva's name (Bholenath) as well as certain explicit lines in the song.

The priest has requested that the rapper remove the name of the god from the song and apologize. According to the article, he further stated that he will file a FIR against the rapper. Now, Badshah has taken to Instagram to apologize for hurting the feelings of some individuals,' while also stating that a replacement for that part of the song is in the works.
His post read, “It has been brought to my attention that one of my recent releases, Sanak, sadly seems to have hurt the sentiments of some people. I would never willingly or unknowingly cause offense to anyone’s sentiments. I bring my artistic creations and musical compositions to you, my fans, with the utmost sincerity and passion. In light of this recent development, I have taken proactive measures to change some parts of the song and actioned the replacement with this new version on all digital platforms to further avoid hurting anyone.”

The post further read, “The replacement process takes a few days before the changes will reflect on all platforms, I request everyone to be patient during this period. I humbly offer my sincerest apologies to those whom I may have unknowingly hurt. My fans remain my bedrock, and I shall always hold them in the highest esteem and with boundless affection. Love Badshah”
