In an interview, veteran actor Dharmendra talked about how shocked the audience was when he and Shabana Azmi kissed in their movie 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.' Dharmendra said that the scene surprised the audience, but they liked it and cheered when it was over. He thought back to a kissing scene he had done in 'Life in a Metro' and how it had also been well received.
Dharmendra said that when he heard the description of the scene, he didn't get too excited, but he did understand how it fit into the story of the movie. He knew that the scene was necessary and wasn't forced on him, so he agreed to do it without any hesitation. The star said that age shouldn't be a problem when it comes to showing romance on screen. He said that kissing can show love at any age. Both Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi felt at ease while filming the scene because it was done so well.
Karan Johar directed the movie 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,' which stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the main parts. The sweet love story between a boy from West Delhi and a girl from Bengal is at the centre of this family comedy-drama.
