'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', Karan Johar's newest movie, is already a hit with people who go to the theatre more than once. The first version of the movie was about 3 hours and 12 minutes long. But Karan skillfully cut the movie down to 2 hours and 48 minutes by taking into account what people said after the test showing. Based on what the test audience said, this process meant adding back some key romantic moments that had been cut at first.
Karan stressed how important test screenings are in today's diverse and competitive film industry, with its many different types of material from regional cinema, Hollywood, and OTT platforms. He thought it was important to know what the audience wants, especially now that the pandemic is over and people's desire to go to the movies may be different.
