Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Ranveer Singh collaborate together for the first time for a new ad campaign for Vicks; Watch the video!

When Samantha Ruth Prabhu arrived on season 7 of Karan Johar's talk show Koffee with Karan, she was utterly astounded by Ranveer Singh's vigor. She had mentioned that they had just finished filming an advertising campaign. And how after working with him she was Ranveer-ified. Vicks, a brand of cold and flu medicine owned by Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Limited, has unveiled a new commercial for their roll-on inhaler featuring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh as its brand ambassadors.

Prabhu, who plays a police officer, stops a sickly Singh who is seen breaking the signal in the movie. The two have combined to show off the advantages of its "two-in-one roll-on inhaler." He struggles to concentrate while being questioned and informs her of his awful headache and runny nose. Then she hands the inhaler to him.

“Hopefully, we’ll have a more in-depth collaboration in the future because I think she is a wonderful person, a very warm person, lovely energy, and an immensely talented person. We did an ad film together. That's where we met and engaged for the first time. It’s on that day that she said ‘Hey I’m actually shooting for Koffee with Karan tomorrow’.

On the work front

Samantha is waiting for the release of her psychological thriller film Yashoda. The film’s trailer will be out on September 9.

Ranveer Singh’s professional front

He will appear in the action-comedy film Cirkus, directed by Rohit Shetty. He will also star alongside Alia Bhatt for the second time in the film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani which is helmed by Karan Johar.
