Back in the day, the divorce of famous filmmaker Shekhar Kapur and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi caused quite a stir. Preity Zinta was blamed for destroying her home and relationship. The actress gave an interview in which she discussed her rocky marriage. In her most recent interview, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi stated that Preity Zinta no longer exists for her.

She was questioned about whether she had forgiven the actress. According to Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, "I don’t need to (forgive her). She is not a part of my consciousness at all. All these things do not exist for me, which is a good space to be in."
She also hinted to the fact that her husband was unfaithful to her. Shekhar Kapur has now posted a lengthy poem to his Instagram account.

Shekhar Kapur married Suchitra Krishnamoorthi in 1997. In 2006, the two split up. They are still co-parenting their daughter, Kaveri. For the past 20 years, the 'Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa' actress has been a stay-at-home mum to their daughter. She had published a lengthy article on her blog following her divorce, claiming that a maneater had come and shattered her marriage with Shekhar Kapur.
She appears to have done another interview recently in which the interviewer rehashed an alleged previous statement made by Preity Zinta to Suchitra Krishnamoorthi. It went somewhat like this, "I am the number one actress and you don’t even work, you are a homemaker. Suchitra, don’t talk to me like that. You need to see a psychiatrist; your mind is not in the right place."

When asked how she felt about the 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' actress's remark, she stated it was a free world and she could say whatever she wanted. According to reports, the actress said, "I am very proud to be a homemaker. I was a full-time mom for 20 years and I am very proud of it."
