Actress Sherlyn Chopra, who had accused Kundra of sexual harassment, harshly criticised the choice after this information came to light.
When Raj Kundra's name was associated with the creation and distribution of explicit adult content, he was subject to severe legal repercussions. He was accused of violating a number of laws, including the Indecent Representation of Women Act, the Information Technology Act, and various provisions of the Indian Penal Code. He charged her with promoting profanity and marketing sexual content at the same time. Later, he described her as a menace to society and prophesied that she would be arrested.
