Sonu Sood unveils India's biggest and world's first 'unlimited mandi plate' at Hyderabad

Actor and humanitarian Sonu Sood on Saturday launched India’s biggest and the world’s first 'Unlimited Mandi Plate' at the Gismat Arabic Mandi (Jail Theme) Restaurant in Hyderabad city.

The event, held at Kondapur locality in the city, also saw in attendance celebrities like actor Himaja and Instagram influencer Paddu Padmavathi.

The plate, which has been named as ‘Sonu Sood Plate’ measures 8 feet and will be available at all the branches of the restaurant. It can accommodate about 20 members.

Speaking at the launch event, Sonu Sood expressed gratitude for being a part of something so historic. "Hyderabad has a diverse and a very unique food culture. With an aim to provide food lovers with a variety of cuisines, Gismat restaurant has pioneered India’s biggest unlimited mandi plate. This is very innovative; something no one has ever thought of before. The move is definitely commendable," he said.

The 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne' actor also shared pictures from the mandi plate launch event on his official Instagram account. Sharing the clicks, he wrote, "India's Biggest Plate" is now named after me Being a vegetarian guy who eats little food can't have a plate on his name that caters to 20 people at a time Humbled gismat_jailmandi."

Sonu Sood will star in the upcoming Tamil film 'Thamilarasan'

On work front, Sonu Sood was last seen as Chand Bardai in the 2022 film Samrat Prithviraj. At present, the actor is filming for the Tamil movie 'Thamilarasan' which is slated to release in the second half of 2022.

Besides, the 49-year-old actor has also committed to feature in the upcoming Hindi film 'Fateh'. The project would go on floors soon.
