Now, these two stars from different industries are set to collaborate on a project.
Varun Dhawan And Ravi Teja To Play The Leads
Numerous Bollywood filmmakers and actors have been remaking films from the south. Ajay Devgn's ' Bholaa', the remake of Karthi's 'Kaithi', is currently breaking all records. Simbu and SJ Suryah's 'Maanaadu', directed by Venkat Prabhu, is also set to be remade in Hindi. Kalyani Priyadarshan, Karunakaran, Premgi, and others performed significant roles in this Tamil film, which was a box-office smash and received critical acclaim. The Hindi remake will include Tollywood star Ravi Teja, who will be making his Bollywood debut. Varun Dhawan will play the other main character. While Ravi Teja will be seen in the role of SJ Suryah, who played the cop, Varun will be seen in the role of Simbu.
Telugu director Praveen Sattaru will direct the Hindi remake of ‘Maanaadu’. He has directed six films and a web series to date. ‘Maanaadu’ was released internationally on November 25, 2021. It was a major blockbuster hit.
Ravi Teja And Varun Dhawan’s Work Front
Varun Dhawan is currently awaiting the release of his Nitesh Tiwari-directed film ‘Bawaal’ alongside Janhvi Kapoor. He also has the web series ‘Citadel’ alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
On the other hand, Ravi Teja’s film ‘Ravanasura’ is set to hit the screens on April 7th, 2023. He also has ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ which will star Bollywood actress Nupur Sanon.
