Veteran actor Prem Chopra refutes death news; slams rumour mongers

Not so long ago, a rumour was doing the rounds that veteran Bollywood actor Prem Chopra is no more. However, the 87-year-old actor has come out and cleared the air, refuting the false news of his demise circulating all over.
Slamming rumour mongers, Chopra stated that someone was “deriving sadistic pleasure in wrongly informing people that I am no more.”
The Kati Patang actor further revealed that he has been getting calls from people since morning and that he's explaining it to them that he is alive and "absolutely fit and fine."
"This is sadism, what else? Here I am, talking to you, absolutely hale and hearty... I wonder who did this to me!" the veteran actor told a leading daily.
Noteworthy, this isn't the first time that such a thing has happened in B-town. A while back, actor Jeetendra also fell prey to similar fake news pertaining to his demise. Alike Prem Chopra, Jeetendra too had to clarify that the news about his death is absolutely false and outrageous.
