‘Welcome 3’, with the titular name ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is tentative to release around Christmas 2024. The Akshay Kumar blockbuster series became hugely popular with the characters ‘Uday’ and ‘Majnu’ played by Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor. But unfortunately, the popular duo has exited the film’s third part leaving their fans to much dismay.
Some reports have suggested that the main reason Anil Kapoor left the film was due to his demand for extraordinary fees. The actor had reportedly asked for Rs 18 crore leaving Sajid Nadiadwala shocked. The actor did not budge even when Akshay Kumar requested on the producer’s behalf to reduce the amount.

But the recent media suggested that the main reason why Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar quit is due to the misbehaviour and unprofessionalism from the film producer, Sajid Nadiadwala.
Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar gave up after their payments were delayed and they were not even paid TDS. A close source to the development revealed, “Apparently, the production was mismanaged, payments were delayed and even TDS was not paid leading to financial losses for not just Kapoor but other actors and technicians as well. It is said that there was a huge showdown with Nana Patekar also because of Firoz’s unprofessional behaviour.”
As of now, there has been no official confirmation of the news yet.
‘Welcome 3’ is bringing back the on-screen pair of Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon after nearly a gap of 20 years. The duo was last seen in the movie ‘Police Force; an Inside Story’ released in 2004.
