' Aurangzeb ' despite being a thrilling flick opened to an average business over the weekend. Although the movie offered two sturdy Arjun Kapoor , newbie Sasheh Aagha and the ace actors like Rishi Kapoor in the role of a cop and Jackie Shroff as mafia to the viewers, the film failed to grab the attentions of audience to much extent. Feeble screenplay adds to the factors proving as barriers for the further success of this movie by Atul Sabharwal .

The action-flick performed poorly on Friday with the hopes of performing better on Saturday and Sunday. However, Saturday also saw the almost similar picture at the ticket window. ' Aurangzeb ' strongly required a grand Sunday to take a big leap.

On Friday and Saturday, the YRF venture managed to garner 3.90 crore nett. As per early estimates, ' Aurangzeb ' should keep the cash register ringing on Sunday with 4.50 crore nett, which would take off first weekend collection of the movie to 12.30 crore nett.

Considering the present trends, the brawny ' Aurangzeb ' should touch the cloud of 18-19 crore nett, which would be deemed as an average business done by the film. This film of Arjun Kapoor could not manage to accomplish loads of brownies like his earlier release ' Ishaqzaade '.
