The Kashmir Files Day 9 box office collection: collects 20+ crores on its second Saturday, has a chance of reaching 300 crores
At the box office, The Kashmir Files (2022) continues its spree. The film is now in its second week, although each day's score is only slightly higher than the day before.
The Kashmir Files has become the centre of attention, overriding a much bigger film, Bachchhan Paandey (2022), starring Akshay Kumar. According to Trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film earned Rs 24.80 crore on Saturday (the ninth day) after a strong start with Rs 19.15 crore (on par with Baahubali: The Conclusion). The Kashmir Files is on track to reach a 10-day total of roughly Rs. 170 crores on Sunday, thanks to incredible advances.

Directed by Vivek Agnihotri and co-written by Saurabh M Pandey and the filmmaker, the film is based on the experience of Kashmiri Pandits who were tormented and forced away during the early days of insurgency in the Valley. Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi and others star in the film.
