After the huge success of 'The Kashmir Files' last year, director Vivek Agnihotri and his wife Pallavi Joshi have now released 'The Kashmir Files: Unreported,' a documentary series. The series is made up of seven episodes that look into the history of Kashmir and put light on the terrible events that led to the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits.

Vivek and Pallavi set out on a full trip of discovery by learning about the region's geography, how it fits into India, and the different ideas that tried to separate Kashmir from the country. In an interview, Vivek Agnihotri talked about the doubts that have been raised about 'The Kashmir Files: Unreported'. He said that people who question whether or not the movie is real are usually people who are against getting rid of Article 370 and always say they back Pakistan.
Agnihotri says that these people indirectly support terrorism and give terrorists in Kashmir a place to hide in terms of their beliefs. He also said that these same people agree with the idea of a free Kashmir and support groups that make things worse. Agnihotri asked people to figure out why these people support or sympathise with the terrorism business. This would show why they don't like 'The Kashmir Files'
The director also said that 'The Kashmir Files: Unreported' was different because it carefully dug into terrorists and showed people like Yasin Malik for who they really are. He talked about how Radhika Menon (played by Pallavi Joshi) and Yasin Malik (played by Chinmay Mandlekar as Farooq Malik Bitta) had strong lines and were interesting to watch. These people speak openly and honestly, showing what they really want.
Agnihotri says that this image is different from how villains are usually shown, which made people angry who felt like they had been shown up by the film. From the director's point of view, his work showed what these people are really like, and their negative emotions are a result of their politics coming into conflict with each other.
'The Kashmir Files: Unreported' is basically a documentary series that looks at the past of Kashmir and how it has affected the Kashmiri Pandit community. It also looks at how political ideologies and terrorism in the region are connected.
