Ankita Biography
Ankita is a famous actress who is well-known in the South Indian film industry. She mainly works in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. Born as Ankita Jhaveri in Mumbai, she ventured into cinema from the small screen. Ankita who was born on 27th May in Mumbai, previously used to work as a child actor in the prestigious advertising campaign of 'Rasna', the fruit drink in 1980s in India on National TV. She was known by the tag 'Rasna Baby'.
Ankita got her breakthrough with the film titled 'Simhadri' featuring NTR Jr. The film proved to be a huge success and was the highest grossing film in 2003. In 2005, she appeared in many Tamil films which were helmed by Sundar C. In those films, she was paired opposite Prashanth and Yuvakrishna. She also got a chance to work on the American Television after her GoDaddy commercial got aired during the famous XLVII Super Bowl.
