This multi-faceted persona is a supermodel, television personality and an actress. Anupama Verma hails from Delhi. She holds a Masters Degree in Business Economics. The talent hidden inside Anupama was noticed by an ace celebrity photographer Shantanu Sheorey. The actress was then in her ninth grade. The advertisement of Digjam suiting along with Shekhar Kapur was Anupama's very first assignment.
Since childhood, Anupama travelled in diverse parts of India, being a daughter of a fighter pilot. Her father retired as the Deputy Chief of IAF. Due to having a photogenic face, Anupama Verma was seen as a cover girl for several leading Indian magazines. She endorsed various products like Cintrol, Pantene, Fair & Lovely, L'oreal, Monte Carlo, Ponds, Braun, Lipton, etc.
Other than modeling assignments, Anupama rose to fame as a VJ on Channel [V]. The super hit music video of the song 'Boom Boom' by Biddu and sung by a Pakistani singer Nazia Hassan, featured Anupama. From then, she became famous as Boom Boom girl. Apart from this album, she also appeared in 'Tere Bin Jeena Nahin', an album by Bali Brahmabhatt. In this, she was seen opposite Bikram Saluja. Anupama was also a part of an album with lyrics like 'Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein' by Leslie Lewis.
Anupama Verma featured in some Bollywood movies like 'Grahan', 'Vadh', 'Pitaah', 'Asambhav', 'Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai', 'Chameli', 'Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai Tumse', 'Padmashree Laloo Prasad Yadav' and 'Woodstock Villa'. She participated in television reality show Big Boss season 1 aired on Sony TV.
