Boney Kapoor Biography

He is the famous producer of Bollywood who gave some good films like 'Mr. India' ,'Judaai' and 'No Entry' along with his actor brother and actress wife. He belongs to the family of filmmakers and artists and now the third generation of his family is also marking its presence in the tinsel town. We are talking about another Kapoor family who are into films since three generations and Boney Kapoor is the head of this second filmy Kapoor family.

Boney Kapoor was born as Achal Kapoor on 11th November 1955 in Meerut. His father was a renowned filmmaker Surinder Kapoor. He is the eldest brother of actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor. The filmmaker was previously married to Mona Shourie Kapoor. They had two children. Actor Arjun Kapoor and Anshula. Boney divorced with Mona in 1996 and then got married to actress Sridevi in 1996. They have two daughters named Khushi and Jhanvi. His first wife Mona passed away in 2012 with Cancer.

The filmmaker has produced some hit blockbuster flicks like 'Pukar' which won the national award and most recently he produced Salman Khan starer 'Wanted' which broke many records at the box office. Boney Kapoor's first movie was released in Uyirvani in Tamil Nadu. The skilled filmmaker knows best what his viewers want and offers some good entertainers to his audience. Boney Kapoor has produced many films which had his brothers Anil ,Sanjay and his wife Sridevi in lead roles. The filmmaker is also on the board of directors of Sahara One Media and Entertainment Limited which is ruled by Sahara India Pariwar.
