Gul Panag aka Gul Panag is a famous beauty queen, actress , model, a voice actress and also a TV actress. She has represented India in the prestigious Miss Universe contest. Gul was born on 3rd January 1979 in Chandigarh , India. She started her schooling in Sangrur, Punjab but later moved to 14 different cities like Chandigarh, Mhow, Leh, Wellington, Tamil Nadu etc. as her father was in the Indian army. She has studied in Kendriya Vidyalayas and The Lawrence School in Lovedale. She is also an alumnus of the International School of Lusaka in Zambia. Gul holds a bachelors degree in Mathematics and she possesses the Masters degree in Political Science. When Gul was taking her school and college education, she was interested in public speaking and sports. She has won many state and national level debate competitions. She is a winner of two gold medals at the Annual National Inter University Debate competition. Gul is married to her long time boyfriend Rishi Attari.

Gul Panag is a winner of the Miss India beauty pageant in 1999. She was the winner of Miss Beautiful Smile at that contest. She represented India in Miss Universe 1999. The dimpled beauty started her career in Bollywood with the film 'Dhoop' in 2003. She was seen in the movies like 'Jurm' ,'Manorama Six Feet Under ' ,'Dor ' ,'Hello ' and 'Straight '. Her role of a commoner who struggles to save her husband from going to the scaffold was in Nagesh Kukunoor 's 'Dor ' was well appreciated by one and all. She has also featured in the movie 'Rann '. Her debut Punjabi movie was 'Sarsa Movie'. She was seen in 'Hello ', the movie based on Chetan Bhagat's famous novel 'One Night@ Call Centre '.

Gul has also essayed the main role in the TV serial 'Kashmeer' aired on Star Plus. The talented actress was seen in many Television advertisements and print ads also. She along with Aamir Khan is the brand ambassador of Tata Sky. The Punjabi kudi was the presenter of the TV shows like Khoobsurat, Kismey Kitnaa Hai Dam, Musafir Hoon Yaaron. She played the role of Jyoti in a tv serial Vijay Jyoti aired on Zee TV. Besides this, Gul has appeared in the films like 'Hello Darling' ,'Turning 30' ,Fatso' , 'Anubhav : An Actor's Tale' and 'Summer 2007'.
