She is the one, who fetched much praises for her excellent performance in the film 'Koi... Mil Gaya' as a child artist. Hansika Motwani played the role of Hrithik Roshan's friend in the flick and left a noticeable impression. This Indian actress was born on 9th August, 1991 in Mumbai and as a grown up artist, she acts mainly in Telugu and Tamil movies. Her father, Pradeep Motwani is a businessman and her mother, Mona Motwani is a dermatologist. Hansika has a brother named Prashant. She completed her schooling from Podar International School.

Hansika first appeared in a Hindi television serial, "Shaka Laka Boom Boom". Post this, she acted in another series called "Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand" and for this role, she bagged Star Parivaar Award for the Favorite Child Artist category. Other than this, Hansika was also a part of the other television series like "Karishma Ka Karishma", "Son Pari", "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi", "Hum Do Hain Na" and "Celebrity Fame Gurukul".

A Telugu film 'Desamuduru' by Puri Jagannadh, was Hansika's debut movie, in which she appeared opposite Allu Arjun. For her great performance in this flick, she achieved Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut - South. In the world of Bollywood, Hansika entered with Himesh Reshammiya's 'Aap Kaa Surroor' in the year 2007. In 2008, Hansika was seen in her sole Kannada film titled 'Bindaas'. She ascended steps of Tamil film industry in 2011 in the film 'Mappillai' alongside Dhanush. 'Engeyum Kadhal' was her next Tamil film that could not please the viewers. Apart from this, her other Tamil films include 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi', 'Settai', 'Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru', 'Singam II', 'Vaalu' and 'Velayudham'.

Currently, Hansika is shooting for Tamil film 'Biriyani', 'Aranmanai', 'Maan Karate' and 'Vettai Mannan'. Hansika Motwani's list of Telugu movies are 'Kantri', 'Maska', 'Jayeebhava', 'Seetharamula Kalyanam', 'Billa', 'Denikaina Ready', 'Oh My friend', 'Kandireega', 'Something Something', etc. Talking about the actress's Hindi films, she has featured as a child artist in the films like 'Aabra Ka Daabra', 'Hawa', 'Hum Kaun Hai' and 'Jaago'. She was also a part of Govinda starrer 'Money Hain To Honey Hain'.
