Kavya Madhavan Biography
Kavya Madhavan is a famous actress who appears in Malayalam movies. She was born on 19th September 1984 in Nileshwaram village in Kerala. Her parents are Shyamala and P. Madhavan. Kavya went to Nileswaram GLP school. She was interested in stage performances and acting since her childhood. She made her debut in the film industry at very young age. She has appeared as a child artist in many Malayali films. She is a very good dancer and has taken an official training for it.
Kavya's debut film was Pookkalam Varavayi in 1991 directed by Kamal. Her talent was recognized in the film by many filmmakers and she was flooded with many offers. When she was in 9th standard, she appeared as a main lead in the film 'Chandranudikkunna Dikhil' by Lal Jose. The movie was a super hit. After that Kavya got popular in the Malayalam film industry. Her pair with actor Dileep used to be considered as a golden pair. Kavya has acted in some Tamil films as well. 'Kasi' was her debut film in Tamil. Being a very talented actress Kavya has won a huge number of awards and nominations for her performances in her films. Kavya got married to Nischal Chandra in 2009 but they got divorced in 2011.
