Mahesh Kodiyal is a relatively new name that comes to the view of cinema enthusiasts. Though he is a new entrant in the industry, he has already got into a project, that is unique and well made. Mahesh Kodiyal is the director and writer of the 2012 film named 'Mai', which is also a debut film for popular singer Asha Bhosle.
The film which stars Ram Kapoor, Asha Bhosle, Shivani Joshi and is a story of an old mother, who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease, and is then abandoned by her only son. It is a touching story of an unbreakable bond between a child and a mother.
The film was well received by critics and audiences. This definitely shows that Mahesh Kodiyal is given a good shot of his directorial and writing talent for the film. It won't be too much to hope that he puts his best in his future projects.
