Rajpal Yadav Biography

Comedy King Rajpal Yadav is a well known actor of Bollywood. Rajpal is known for his comic timing and cheeky recitation of dialogues.

Rajpal Yadav was born on 16th March 1971 and was raised in Kundra, Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh. He had joined Shahjahanpur Theatre and acted in lots of plays. He then went to Lucknow to Join Bharatendu Natya Academy. He completed the two year course and moved to Delhi to join the National School of Drama. Ultimately he came to Mumbai to try his luck in Bollywood. He featured in a Doordarshan's Television Serial Mungeri Ke Bhai Naurangilal. He then auditioned for various movies but could not gain a big break. He was spotted by Ram Gopal Varma in the movie 'Mast'. He asked Rajpal to give an audition and selected him for a role in 'Jungle'. After that Rajpal did a variety of roles in movies like 'Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya', 'Darna Mana Hai', 'Company', etc but got the max acceptance playing comic roles in 'Hungama', 'Chup Chup Ke', 'Garam Masala', 'Dhol', 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa', 'Taarzan - The Wonder Car', etc. Rajpal has also played lead in movies like 'Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon', 'Main Meri Patni Aur Woh', 'Ladies Tailor', 'Rama Rama Kya hai Dramaaa', 'Kushti' etc. He also tried his hands in directing with his directorial debut 'Ata Pata Lapata'. He also owns a production House - Shree Naurang Godavari Entertainment Ltd.

Rajpal will next be seen in 'Rangrezz' and 'Zindagi 50-50'.
