Saeed Jaffrey is a popular Indian actor.

The actor was born in Malerkotla, Punjab on 8 Jan 1929 and ended his education from St. George's College, Mussoorie, Aligarh Muslim University (Aligarh). He besides brought together Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and after getting Fulbright scholarship he went to the United States the United States From The Catholic University of America he got the post-graduate degree in drama. Unity Theatre was set up by him in New Delhi. Some of his work includes roles in productions of Tennessee Williams, Christopher Fry, Wilde, and Shakespeare.

MOVIES.
Saeed has worked in a lot of British cinemas including The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Passage to India (1965 BBC version and 1984 movie) and My Beautiful Laundrette (1985). He was too seen in Tv serials like Gangsters (1975 -- 1978), The Jewel in the Crown (1984), Tandoori Nights (1985 -- 1987) and Little Napoleons (1994).

He has besides acted in a number of Bollywood cinemas like 98 Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, Aunty No. 1,  Albela, Mohabbat, Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat, Achanak, Uff! Yeh Mohabbat and more.
