Soniya Mehra Biography
Soniya Mehra is a B-Town actress and late actor Vinod Mehra's daughter. She was born on 2 December, 1988. 'Victoria No. 203' was her debut film in Bollywood in the year 2007. The name of her role was 'Tara'. The film turned out to be a commercial flop at the box-office.
The actress was seen in some of the Bollywood flicks like 'Basra' as Shruti Singh and in 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' as Anusha. Sonia was also a part of the movie named as 'Shadow'.
She did her schooling from Kenya and further education in London. Sonia was two years old when Vinod Mehra passed away in 1990. She achieved a Gold Medal in school for her acting performance in music and dramatic acting competition. Sonia was five years old, when she started doing Ballet dance. She is a trained dancer and has expertise in various dance forms like Kathak, belly dancing, jazz and hip hop.
Sonia completed a course at the Arts Educational Schools of London. At the age of seventeen years, she came to Mumbai and enrolled for 3 month course at 'Actor Prepares', the acting academy of veteran actor Anupam Kher.
Currently, the actress is looking forward to make it big in the glamorous world of Bollywood.
