Sonya Jehan Biography

Sonya Jehan is a Pakistani actress who has a partial French descent as well. Her debut film was a period epic film of 2005 ,'Taj Mahal'. The film was made by Akbar Khan and had Arbaaz Khan, Kabir Bedi and Manisha Koirala in it. The movie was declared a flop. Sonya Jehan's original title was Sonya Rizvi. But she changed her name to Jehan in honor of her grandmother Noor Jehan, the legendary singer and actress of old times.

Sonya is a daughter of Akbar Hussain Rizvi , the eldest son of Noor Jehan. Her mother's name is Florence Rizvi who is a French. Sonya studied at Centre of Advanced Studios (CAS) and then at The Lyceum School. She has got her degree in design from St. Martin's College of Art and Design. Sonya is married to an Indian banker Vivek Narain.

Sonya was seen in the commercial of Lux Soap. She has also featured in the films 'Khoya Khoya Chand' by Sudhir Mishra and 'My Name is Khan' by Karan Johar.
