Zarina Wahab Biography

Zarina Wahab is a talented actress of the Hindi cinema. Though she did not act in many films but she did mark her presence through her marvelous performance in the films she did. Zarina Wahab was born on 17th July 1959, in Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. The actress learnt the art of acting in the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune. Zarina Wahab can speak multiple languages. She is fluent in Telugu, Urdu, Hindi and English. She is married to the actor Aditya Pancholi and has one son and one daughter.

Zarina had a look of a simple girl next door, so she was cast many times as a simple middle class girl only. Her memorable roles include Basu Chatterjee's 'ChitChor' in 1976 with Amol Palekar,'Gharonda' in 1977 and in 'Gopal Krishna' in 1979. Later she has acted in many Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films. She has appeared in the Hindi cinema again in Shah Rukh Khan's 'My name is Khan'. She played Shahrukh's mother in that film. Zarina currently appears in the older roles in many films and television series.

Zarina was seen in many new Hindi movies like 'Dil Maange More','Kisna','Rakht Charitra','Agneepath', 'Vishwaroop' etc. She will be seen in many upcoming movies like 'I, Me aur Main' and various south Indian projects.
