Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have been making headlines for the last few weeks for their alleged wedding which is now a reality. The most private couple of Bollywood finally made it official as they posted the same set of pictures from their pheras on Instagram with matching captions on their respective profiles.
Their posts are flooded with comments by celebrities and fans alike, congratulating the newlywed. The couple tied the knot at Six Senses Resort, Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur in royal style yet privately as only their families and closest of friends were invited to the wedding.
As everyone had speculated, it turned out they opted for a Sabyasachi ensemble at their wedding. The renowned designer’s Instagram post congratulating Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal confirmed that they dressed the couple in signature Sabyasachi outfits and jewellery.
Anaita Shroff, who is a celebrity stylist and also Katrina’s close friend from her initial days in the industry, is believed to have curated Katrina’s wedding looks. As we can see in the pictures, Katrina is wearing a classic red silk lehenga with meticulously done hand embroidery on the surface. To match Vicky’s Punjabi roots, she got kiran lace on her veil’s edges and kaleere in hands like a true Punjabi bride. The uncut diamond and gold jewellery by the label stands out in this amazing wedding look.
On the other hand, Vicky wore an ivory silk sherwani with marodi work embroidery on it, having iconic Sabyasachi’s tiger buttons, paired with silk kurta and churidar. He carried a shawl that looked like tussar georgette with zari and marodi work. Gold tissue safa on the head with kilangi suit him so well. Statement necklace with emeralds completes the groom’s royal look.
