Hugh Jackman is returning to the role of Wolverine For 'Deadpool 3,' but he might not be the only original X-Men member to appear alongside Ryan Reynolds's Merc with a Mouth in his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. We have no idea how these characters will be involved in the story, but considering that Cyc, Storm, Jean, and Logan made up the original squad in the now-defunct 20th Century Fox series, it's possible that Wade could go back in time to beg the mutant heroes for assistance. However, only Wolvie will join Wade. We don't expect Jannsen, Berry, or Marsden to play parts that even come close to being significant, one of many possibilities, but regardless of how they are used.

According to reports, the working title of Deadpool 3 is "Tidal Wave." The franchise's new arrivals Emma Corrin (The Crown) and Matthew Macfadyen (Succession), whose roles are still unknown, will join Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), Karan Soni (Dopinder), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al), Rob Delaney (Peter), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), and Shioli Kutsuna (Yukio).

The status of Cable (Josh Brolin) and Domino (Zazie Beetz) is still unknown. The plot's specifics are also currently unknown, but Wade and Wolvie are predicted to get (trapped?) within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to a recent rumour, Agent Mobius (Owen Wilson) and Miss Minutes from Loki's TVA will play a part.

Wade's MCU debut has also given us reason to assume that it will play a much bigger role in Phase 5 and beyond than we initially thought. The release date for 'Deadpool 3' is slated for September 6, 2024.
