While Priscilla Presley, the former wife of music superstar Elvis Presley, freely said that she never planned to remarry after their rocky six-year marriage, interesting facts imply otherwise.

According to Page Six, Priscilla was head over heels in love with Robert Kardashian in the mid-1970s. A close acquaintance spilled the beans, stating that Kardashian was previously ready to marry Priscilla, laying the groundwork for a passionate affair.

After her divorce from Elvis, Priscilla Presley found herself in a whirlwind relationship with none other than Robert Kardashian in the mid-1970s. According to sources, the two fell in love at first sight and were intimate almost immediately after meeting.

Joni Migdal told Jerry Oppenheimer, author of The Kardashians: An American Drama, that "Priscilla made Robert very happy. “He desired to marry and have children with her. That was his hope, his plan," he stated.

Their intimate bond, however, was not without unexpected pauses, courtesy of Priscilla's ex-husband, Elvis Presley. Elvis, according to Kardashian, stopped Priscilla from meeting other men "because they had [daughter] Lisa Marie, and Elvis was very involved in that."

Despite his early attractiveness, Priscilla grew to suspect that Robert, like Elvis, was seeking to exert control over her. According to Migdal, the breaking point occurred when Kardashian expressed a desire to make her into a "domesticated Armenian housewife," a suggestion that "infuriated Priscilla" and caused her to announce that marriage was out of the question.

"Priscilla once tried to make dinner for Robert because he kept asking, so Priscilla said that one night she cooked asparagus, and she made this and she made that, and she went out of her way to make it perfect, and he HATED it," he explained. He never asked her to prepare supper for him again after that evening, she recalled." The incident not only enraged Priscilla but also compelled her to make the significant choice that he would not marry Kardashian. "Look, I'm not going to marry anyone until Elvis dies," she went on to say.

While Kardashian's hopes for marriage and a family with Priscilla did not come true, the two went their own ways. Robert married Kris Jenner in 1978, but Priscilla refused to marry anyone. However, an unusual rumour arose claiming that Priscilla contacted Robert and proclaimed her love to him when he died in 2003 following a fight with illness.
