Jada Pinkett Smith Makes SHOCKING REVELATIONS On Her Friendship With Late Rapper Tupac Shakur! (Details Inside)

Jada Pinkett Smith has spoken about her particular bond with Tupac Shakur, the late artist. In a recent interview with RollingOut, the actress, 52, described the rapper as her "soulmate friend."

Jada revealed during the interview, "If there is such a thing as past lives, I definitely think that Pac and I have travelled a few together." When asked if she ever regretted not taking their relationship to the next level, she stated, "It just wasn't possible, There was no chemistry between us," she further described her chemistry as "friendship-love chemistry" explaining that having a future together "wasn't the purpose" of their friendship. She stated that a higher power brought them together to form a dynamic relationship but purposefully restrained them from being a couple.

Despite marrying Will Smith in 1997, Pinkett Smith recently announced that the couple had been divorced for seven years. She said in an interview that they both had excessive expectations of one other. She went on to say, "I think we were both kind of just still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be."

In a subsequent interview with PEOPLE, she stated, "It was like God formed us that way," adding, "It was like, hey, I'm going to put y'all together, right? You two will make an excellent team. But I'm going to tell you right now that I'm going to make it impossible for you to get together since that was never the intention."
