31st October Plot
On 31st October 1984, Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi gets assassinated by her Sikh bodyguards. This incidence causes hatred towards the community. Anger driven mass begins open massacre of Sikh men and women. Davinder Singh (Vir Das) is one of such victims.
Davinder's peaceful life turns in havoc after this incidence. He and his family - wife Tejinder Kaur and three kids, are stuck in their house. Most of his relatives are murdered and neighbours have turned hostile. His plead for help reaches three Hindu men across the city. Now they take it upon themselves to save his family, fighting all odds coming their way.
