Rating: 3/5

One line Review: Truly spectacular and extravagant dance sequences with special effects in 3D which indeed is a visual treat.

Positive Points: Startling and power pack performances by the actors, Remo D'Souza's direction, apt and smooth narration of the story which was successful in keeping the audiences hooked throughout the film. Superb dance sequences and the fairly good depiction of multiple emotions: love, friendship, courage, betrayal, pride, redemption and patriotism which makes it a complete entertainer.

Negative Points: A bit too stretched sequences which in turn increase the run time making it a lengthy deal. The second half rises to an extreme peak which sees a downfall in a single second with an abrupt finish at the very end.

Plot: As it is said...Success has many parents, but failure is an orphan! The film proves this statement rightly as the young Suresh and team struggle to achieve their goals and live their dancing dream. Suresh (Varun Dhawan) and Vinne (Shraddha Kapoor) along with their dance troupe named Mumbai Stunners participate in a dance reality show. But in one of the rounds Mumbai Stunners get disqualified on the grounds of cheating and copying from an International dance troupe- The Philippines Group. They not only lose the competition but also lose their pride and get teased as cheaters and are looked down upon. On the verge of gaining back the lost respect, Suresh plans to participate in the International Dance Competition held in Las Vegas, America.

Suresh convinces his team and his childhood bestie and love interest Vinne for the competition. Team stumbles upon Visnu, who is an avid and exceptional dancer but drowned in alcohol. Suresh and team somehow convince him to become their Guru, choreographer for the International event. Crossing many roadblocks the team which is now called the India Stunners qualifies to represent India, and heads towards Las Vegas to meet new dancing challenges. Meanwhile, when it seems like all is well now, Vishu Sir who has a grave past suddenly acts fishy and strangely disappears leaving the troupe in despair. But to everyone's delight returns at the very right moment only to become the strongest support system of the team. Will India Stunners be successful in regaining their lost pride and make India victories is the further watch.

Direction and other Technical Aspects: Making a complete dance based film and exploring a whole new genre is brilliantly made possible by the director Remo D'Souza. The film displays some extraordinary performances and brings together exceptional dance talents of the country. With dance being in the forefront, the plot takes a backseat which is the major weakness. The run time was dragged a bit too much making it a too-much-to-digest package. But still overall, the movie is impactful and is a complete treat.

Performances: The film is a pleasure to watch because of the flawless and remarkable dance and acting performances by the actors. After proving himself as an actor, Varun Dhawan proves his worth as a dancer too. He is incredible and at his dance best in the film. He portrays his character extremely well and displays manifold emotions with ease. Shraddha Kapoor is a visual delight in the film. Her sparkling and positive persona shines on the big screen. She manages to impress by her moves and has taken a lot of effort to match steps with the dancers and has done an exceptional job that shows. Prabhu Deva as Vishnu Sir has displayed his acting skills which are fairly good. Needless to say, his dance moves does not fail to charm. Dharmesh Yelande, Lauren Gottlieb, Raghav Juyal, Punit Pathak and other supporting actors have essayed their part very well.

Music: All the tracks are outstandingly composed and are a treat to the ears. Tracks like 'Bezubaan' and 'Sun Saathiya' among others are already topping music charts. The background score is also pretty good.

Final Verdict: For the dance lovers, this movie is surely a visual delight. It is a film meant for everyone that is it can be enjoyed with friends & family and can be a great weekend treat. One must go for this movie to witness some brilliant dance performances by the rising dancing talents.
