CHHODO KAL KI BAATEIN is a Hindi feature film which released on Thursday, 12th April, 2012 instead of Friday, 13th April, 2012. This film has been directed by Pramod Joshi and falls in the genre of drama.

Story : CHHODO KAL KI BAATEIN is the story of Aditya Pradhan (Sachin Khedkar) who is a workaholic and who always craves to get more and more until and unless he reaches a stage where he feels satiated, satisfied and content. However, he gives very less time to his family. Due to his ignorance, his wife and daughter leave him alone over a weekend. Thereafter, the twist in the film erupts. When he wakes up next day, he realizes that the Sunday gone by is repeating in his life. He lives the same day over and over again, being trapped in an endless time loop.

His life changes and another twist emerge into the film when a blind man is introduced into the film. This blind man is none other than Benaam Kumar (Anupam Kher) who totally changes the way Aditya thinks. He completely changes his life and makes him a different man. He teaches him to pick up smaller joys of life and enjoy.

Acting : Anupam Kher has done superb acting. He has completely justified the role of a blind man. He has proved that to see, you don't need eyes but vision. Sachin Khedekar too has acted brilliantly. He too impresses you with his powerful performances. The remaining cast is okay.

Script : Storyline is good and message of the film is also motivational. Dialogues are simple but not misleading.

Direction : Pramod Joshi has directed well and has justified the story. However, he has presented Anupam Kher's character half baked and has created unnecessary mystery to his character which was not required.

Conclusion : This film has been inspired by Hollywood classic comedy film GROUNDHOG DAY. The Hollywood film was a comedy whereas this film is a drama with very little comedy. Despite being a good film, due to star cast, it may not attract many viewers. Also, it wasn't promoted like any other commercial film; hence very few audiences would come to know about it which would badly affect the business of the film. Also, HOUSEFULL 2 would be giving it a tough competition and audiences who haven't yet watched HOUSEFULL 2 would prefer watching Akshay Kumar's comedy because that film has become hit. Hence, CHHODO KAL KI BAATEIN would earn very less revenue at the box office. However, this film has been made at a low budget; it may not suffer much and may recover its making cost through mouth publicity, if it's not too late.

Verdict : A good film; a meaningful film. It can be watched.
