Negative Points: Nothing negative to highlight.

Plot: If you want to know what are the intelligent movies which has a substance in it then you must go and watch Bejoy Nambiar's David. It is the story of three men with the same name but they live in altogether different places and have nothing in common not even time periods.

Far away in London in the black and white era of 1975, David (Neil Nitin Mukesh) is the right hand of a mafia don Iqbal Ghani (Akarsh Khurana) who protects his master like anything. David has worked for Ghani since the death of his own father and the master is concerned about David more than his own strolling son. The story takes a turn when a team of Indian officials visit UK to finish Ghani as he is responsible for the terrorist acts in India. Soon the team realizes that they cannot finish Ghani as David can go to any heights to protect his master. The story takes a distinct turn when some dirty secrets about David's father , mother and Ghani gets revealed to David. Will David take the revenge?

The second David (Vinay Virmani)lives in Bandra, Mumbai in the year of 1999.Here, David is a hard core musician who wants to dedicate his entire life to music. Though David can't get along with his father well, he loves his sisters and wants them to get settled in their lives. His life gets a turn when he gets a chance to go to the world tour but he refuses as one politician Malti Tai (Rohini Hattangadi) targets David's father in the politics in the name of religion. His total family gets devastated in that incident. Will David take the revenge?

Third David (Chiyaan Vikram) is busy in 2010 in Goa in drinking and getting himself dragged into the unnecessary fights with the people.People call him Jinx as his own would be wife Anny ran away with her boyfriend on the day of their wedding. He is also looking for a bride for himself . David's life seems boring talking to his father's spirit (who gets into the bodies of innocent people and enjoys the drinks) and in dawdling with Peter (his best friend Nishan Nanaiah). David falls in love with Peter's would be wife Roma( Isha Sharvani) who's "mike and speakers are not working" .Eventually Roma also falls in love with Peter. Unfortunate Peter's only friends are his dead father (Saurabh Shukla) and Frenny (Tabu). Whenever he tries to convince Roma's parents for his marriage with him and not with Peter, the situation goes against him leaving him distressing. Will Peter be able to marry his best's friend's would be wife Roma?

If you want the answers of these questions then grab a ticket and watch this movie ASAP.

Direction and other Technical Aspects: Bejoy Nambiar is truly a magician, a multitasker and he truly deserves a standing ovation. Because he has handled the multiple narrations, three scripts and altogether different stories one handedly with a style and class. The editor Sreekar Prasad has done his work fantastically and last but not least the screenplay wins your heart. Even the camera angles and different color tones used in the film suits it perfectly.

Action: The film is not about action. So don't look for the action sequences.

Performances: The star cast of the film lives up to your expectations. All the three Davids , Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vinay Virmani and Chiyaan Vikram have done a fantastic job. Neil Nitin Mukesh's performance is fabulous and outstanding. Vinay Virmani can be a new heartthrob of young ladies as he looks so adorable and cute. Lara Dutta does a good job in her short cameo. Nasser and Rohini Hattangadi mark their presence. But the star of the show is South icon Vikram. You can't get him out of your head for a time being. His David was seen like never before. He steals the show with stunning Tabu who made Frenny remarkable. Isha Sharvani does a good job with her expressions and Saurabh Shukla and Nishan Nanaiah has done their jobs perfectly.

Music: The music of the film is fantastic. There are only 3 tracks but all of them are fabulous. 'The Mast Kalandar' ,' Rab di' are lovely songs and ' Maria Pitache' is just awesome .

Final Verdict: David is an awesome movie which has a catchy story which runs at a fast pace and keeps you engaged until the last scene wondering what will happen next.
