Eik Dasttak Plot
The story of "Eik dastakk' unfolds through the experience of the main protagonist "Kshitiz", a senior officer of the income tax dept, evoking all the drama and intrigue of a system which thrives on a close nexus between money and power. It is an intensely gripping story not just because for the first time the functioning of income Tax Dept, is brought into public domain in the most authentic manner, but also because it brings out this eternal struggle between "right and wrong' and the price that one has to pay for being right.
