GAME is a Hindi feature film produced under the banner of Excel entertainment and produced by Ritesh sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.

GAME is an action thriller and which also contains lots of drama. But does it succeed to impress the audience?

Story : The story revolves around four such characters who are strangers to each other yet they reach to the same destination to meet a common person who is a mysterious man none other than Kabir Malhotra (Anupam Kher).

The four protagonists of this film are: Neil Menon (Abhishek Bachchan) who is the owner of a big casino; Vikram Kapoor (Jimmy Shergill) who at any cost wants his new film to be super hit; OP Ramsay (Boman Irani) who wants to make a place in Thailand politics and covets to become PM there; Tisha Khanna (Shahana Goswami) who is a journalist and is desperate to find some sensational big news which could give her recognition.

Kabir Malhotra invites each one of them to reach his island. When all four people reach there they feel that they have been trapped and have been the victim of some kind of conspiracy. Kabir Malhotra tells them that he had some evidences which could prove that all of them were involved in the murder plan of his daughter Maya (Sarah-Jane Dias). They get shocked to know this. Kabir threatens them that he would ruin their lives because they had planned to murder his daughter.

But to everyone's surprise next morning Kabir is found dead. He had committed suicide.

Sia Agnihotri (kangna Ranuat ) is special branch Inspector who is investigating this case. She feels that someone had murdered him and she suspects Neil Menon and actor Vikram Kapoor whereas murderer is someone else.

Who is the murderer and why did he kill Kabir make the rest of the film.

Script : The script of the film is loose and even tough it appears to be a murder mystery film you don't get satisfaction while watching or after watching this film as you used to get in watching a real murder mystery film.

Performance : Abhishek Bachchan is good but it seems that the ADs didn't pay attention on his continuity of performance because what he appears before interval seems irrelevant what he appears post interval. Hence his performance differs. Also the effect of failure of his earlier 2 films can be felt little bit from his body language. He should be confident and if any film fails he should not take the blame on himself but the blame should go on the director and the script.

Anupam Kher doesn't suit in such roles. This is the reason YE FASLEY was a great disaster. He should chose comical roles for himself or roles like A WEDNESDAY.

Kangana Ranawat's accent as British Cop doesn't match hence doesn't fit into this role.

Boman Irani and Jimmy Shergil are okay.

Music : The music directors Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy couldn't deliver any song which could be so popular that could benefit the film. Except one song all other songs fall flat.

Lyrics of the film are written by the legendary Javed Akhtar which are good but of no use due to weak script and weak music.

Direction : The director Abhinay Deo could hardly deliver hooking or entertaining film as his debut film. The film appears to be quite childish and except background music you don't get the feeling of watching a thriller. If you watch only a few parts it could surely look like thriller but on the whole the film is childish.

Verdict : Even though many aspects fail in this film you lose nothing if you watch the film. You would enjoy the racy thriller if you watch like a child and not like an adult.
